NAPW Indianapolis Chapter meeting in Indianapolis for a second portion of their monthly networking event. The group has enjoyed appetizers, updates and a presentation by Nora Spitznoble, Programme Director of a second portion, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving food to meet the nutritional needs of those in need. Their motto is to eliminate hunger. Empowering People.

present: Carol Coots, Jaye Miller, Bridget McDaniel, Sally Esbaum, Jamie Wills, Vickie Proksch, Mikki Post, Andrea Ciobanu and Lynn Moore. The new members are: Mary Ann Heck and A.J. Waddington.
NAPW Indy Chapter meeting opened with a visit portions of the second organization. Nora shared the organization’s mission, its role and the role it plays in serving the community. The structure of the center is open to the public for lunch where you can enjoy the culinary creations made by our chef and his team. Hundreds of volunteers to prepare food for organizations that need every day.
The Indianapolis Chapter
evening was there, the Indianapolis Colts wives and families were participating in the kitchen, sorting food, and personal assistance with food distribution.
As a way to offer professional training, offers a second portion of a 10-week program, Chef, which allows students to earn certification allowing them to get a job at the restaurant and hospitality industry. For more information, visit http://www.secondhelpings.org.
NAPW Indy ask members to donate to help the chapter as pasta and rice packaged for a second portion of one of their awareness-raising events in 2012. According to portions of the Volunteer Service Manager, Mary Parks is the contact to find ways to help. Can be reached at 317-633-2664.
NAPW Indy Chapter will adopt two families for Christmas by Dayspring Center! Nita Conway is coordinating the Adopt-A-Family project to provide these families a Merry Christmas NAPW and work on the wish list collection and commitments to purchase gifts for families.
The chapter will sponsor two families of four, each with two children. Nita has asked that members make checks payable to innovative solutions and Lynn Moore Dayspring Center will provide a receipt for each donor to complete for tax purposes. Lynn is willing to buy items and gift cards to organize the NAPW and Nita, shopping, wrapping, etc. Members were informed that the items must be packaged, labeled and ready for delivery by Friday, December 16 at the Dayspring Center.
Pledges from the meeting of October has reached more than $ 1,000 so that members were invited to contact Nita Conway nita.conaway immediately @ 317-405-9427 or ext divsys.com. 2 with the amount of their efforts so as to provide a report that will determine the amount of the expenditure for each family sponsored by Dayspring Center. If members would like to contribute, shop for the family, or have any questions, please contact Nita by December 5 or December 5 chapters to attend the meeting to provide control and coordinate the details.
December 13 at 5:30, NAPW Indy chapter will provide a meal and speakers for members and clients of Dress for Success Indianapolis. Dress for Success offers a monthly meeting for members of the PWG Professional Women’s Group to offer the opportunity to learn, network and build professional skills. Their meetings begin at 5:30 and end by 8:00 PM.
NAPW members are invited to attend and assist, and were encouraged to bring business cards for networking! Dress for Success Indianapolis, 820 N. Meridian, Indianapolis, IN has parking on the south side of the building. Candice Brisson, Program Manager for the Women’s Professional Group will be the facilitator chapters and the agenda includes announcements, dinner, panel discussion, and wrap-up.

Dinner 5:45 to 6:15 – NAPW members would be willing to host a meal, providing assistance
with food (buffet), drinks and clean-up for the group.
6:15 to 6:30 Announcements and Agenda – Candice Brisson
6:30 to 7:30 Panel of speakers NAPW – NAPW members will participate in a panel discussion and
provide reflections on each of the four themes that we discussed this year:
1. The written rules of perspective in the workplace
2. The unwritten rules of perspective in the workplace
3. Financial Planning Tips
4. Work / Life Balance Tips

RSVP by December 5 if you plan to attend and if you want the lady of the house, confirm their participation on the panel, or assist in the planning, said Lynn.
Referees will include Danuta
Panich, Ellyn Traub, Shannon Hitchcock, and Jaye Miller. Referees share their philosophy, counseling, etc. for each of the items on the agenda. The hosts are interested in attending the meal: Sally Esbaum and Vickie Proksch, and others are welcome! Lynn will provide for food and drinks. Dress for Success will take care of dishes, cutlery, paper, etc.
The dress for Success Party Goodie Bag filled approaches. Members were invited to meet on December 5 18:30 to help stuff bags with goodies Professional group of women. Lynn will host an informal meeting NAPW in his house and asked that members bring an item for each of the 25 bags that will be given to 13 December PWG. The members have already donated the following items: Post-it Notebook w / pens pens, markers, pencils Tissue Packs, Emery boards Tooth Brush / Paste Breath Freshener Set Chapstick Personal Care Bags (soap / shampoo / conditioner / cream / etc.). Items still needed are: Carols Money Tips Booklet, 2012 Bridgets Planners, Mikkis thank-you notes, and other items that would complete the gift.
2011 was a year of Share and 2012 will be a year to learn! Lynn said. Plans for the 2012 Indy Chapter Meetings are underway! If you have an idea you want to share or match that you want to hostlet let us know!
Members were encouraged to e-mail to Lynn mooreinnovative@att.net with ideas and who would host the month. The dates will be announced.
January 2012 Melissa Trisler would plan a soup On! event and will work on site, ideas and organization that will benefit from this event. Suggestions have been made to collect pasta (elbows and spaghetti) and rice for a second portion of a registration fee for the event. Melissa will follow with the details of what she is working.
February 2012 Lynn Moore would like to schedule an event in which wine and cloth has become the artist and paint a masterpiece that can be given as a gift, hanging at home, or sold at auction at one of the chapters partner events.
March 2012 The Chapter is considering possible speakers.
